About

What is in it

The corpus holds 177 entries across 8 topics, from computer-science fundamentals through frontend, design, product, backend and data, cloud and DevOps, security, and the soft skills of working on a team. Every entry is either a skill — something you can do — or an area — a subject to know your way around. Each one lists the entries to read first, and 297 of them come with worked examples in a sidecar file.

How to read it

Within a topic the entries are ordered, but nothing stops you reading a single one on its own. Start with whatever interests you; if it lists prerequisites you do not have yet, follow those links first. When you finish an entry, Go deeper names what to read next. A table of contents sits beside the text on a wide screen and above it on a narrow one.

Two languages

Every entry exists in English and in Russian; the language switch at the top of the page moves between the two. The Russian side also carries a glossary of the terminology the lessons use.

TODO: confirm — the reuse and licensing terms for the lesson text have not been settled, so this page does not state them.
